Jean Sevcik, head coach of the Spartan dancers, decided to utilize the base leotard of their costume and mix and match a pair of pants and a skirt depending on what type of dance. This design was inspired from a rhythmic gymnast leotard, creating a new look with the use of appliques. Below is a picture of their '09-'10 team's exceptional uniform.
