This sparkling 10-by 24 foot painting by artist, Mickalene Thomas, adorns the window of the MoMA on 53rd street. The artwork is layers of material, lacquer, rhinestone and paint. Thomas explains, "It symbolizes a change, acceptance and new beginnings." This is an overall image of the mural.
