We were excited when the [Hockettes Synchronized Skating Team](https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hockettes-Synchronized-Skating-Team/162553220433621?fref=photo) (novice) showed us their inspiration from "My Fair Lady." ![My Fair Lady inspiration, The Line Up,](https://blog.thelineup.com/hs-fs/file-4146109291-jpg/blog-files/mfl-665x1024.jpg?width=640&name=mfl-665x1024.jpg) The precision that goes into making a gorgeous skate dress is complex. And this dress was no exception! With multiple types of fabric (silk, lace, hologram and sublimated poly) and detailed patterning, we we were thrilled to see it all come together. The subtle soft pink fabric under the white lace gives great texture to the dress. And the finishing touches bring it all together! Obviously the skaters couldn't wear a gigantic hat while skating, but they didn't want to sacrifice the signature look of "My Fair Lady."
