What do you do at the Line Up?

I oversee Product Development at The Line Up! I work with the Product Development and Surface Design teams to resolve day to day issues as well as look at long term strategies to improve our team and processes. We always strive to improve our design and patterning knowledge to get our customers the best garment solutions and fit possible. I do a lot of hands on training since there are so many facets to developing a custom garment. Each one is a challenge to overcome! In my own accounts, I do the whole Product development process from design concept to pattern to production specifications. I also drive the Product Development side of New Product, collaborating with members of other departments to decide what to offer each year and how to make it.

Why do you love working at The Line Up?

The thing I love about working at The Line Up is working with costumes gives you a little more of a technical challenge and is a little more interesting than working on everyday wear in my opinion.

What do you like doing outside of work?

Something I like to do outside The Line Up is I like to make jewelry and masks.

What is your favorite book?

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It has so much imagery and imagination packed into it.

What is your dream vacation?

My dream vacation would be to backpack through Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam or India. My brother lived in South Korea for 2 years and before he left, he did that backpack route over 2 months. He has the most amazing stories from it!

What #LineUpLook is your favorite and why?

Octavia Tsunami. I love all 4 color options but the Moss and Orchid ones are my favorite! They both have such unique color palettes that really wouldn't work on other styles. I made a big stink that we just HAD to make both samples to photograph. ;)
