Employee Spotlight: Miranda, Surface Designer & Sublimation Production Lead

What do you do at the Line Up?

I am a Surface Designer as well as the Sublimation Production Lead at The Line Up. This means that I manage the schedule for the entire sublimation department, and oversee the sublimation process from the artwork phase through the cutting phase. I also digitally apply artwork to the majority of production jobs, and lay markers for the pieces to be printed, pressed, and cut.  Sublimation is a technique we use to apply custom textile designs onto fabric.  

Why do you love working at The Line Up?

I love working here because we get to do new things every day, there's always new challenges and obstacles to overcome. 

What is your favorite and least favorite food?

My favorite type of food is Italian, but it’s too hard to narrow it down to one thing! My least favorite food is probably green peppers.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Until I was in high school, I really wanted to be a chef!

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be? 

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be Stevie Nicks. She is incredibly poetic and creative. I think I could learn a lot from her.

What #LineUpLook is your favorite and why?

 I would say my favorite #LineUpLook is the Champagne Leo/Tribal Mesh Leo. The artwork is super detailed, and there are endless ways to customize the colors!
