When the University of St. Thomas Dance Team brought their design concepts and ideas for both their hiphop and jazz routines this year, we couldn't have been more excited to get started! We have worked with the team for many years, but were extra thrilled that the ladies wanted to push the boundaries, using sublimation for jazz and stretching our "street clothes" making abilities to the limit with hiphop.

We miss high school dance team! Our Throwback Thursday is a tribute to our Minnesota high school dance teams at the State tournament this past year.
We cannot believe it has been almost two weeks since the 2014 State Dance Team Tournament. The Line Up loves this time of year. It is when our collaboration with talented coaches and dancers are seen by the entire dance community. Everyone looked fabulous in their TLU wear. What fashion rules do you follow? What rules do you break? Where do you find your inspiration? We keep a close watch on current trends and styles that are hot in the fashion industry. Not only do we make sure to watch trends for costume inspiration and design, but for day-to-day outfits as well!

Little Chute (WI) brought home two state championships in D4 Pom and D2 Kick at the Wisconsin State Tournament! The team has won D4 Pom for the past 4 years in a row- congratulations!

St. Cloud Cathedral created custom Kick unitards this year for their bowling theme! These bright colors really stand out on the floor and the legging fit pants show nice strait lines.

In honor of the fun, football filled weekend around the corner, we thought we would share this awesome photo of the Sea Gals in their warm ups made by The Line Up- so cute!

As we are deep into the winter season for high school dance team, we thought we would share some photos from some of our awesome customers from Minnesota and Wisconsin!

Chanhassen High School from Chanhassen, MN created custom garments for their Kick and Jazz teams this year! For Kick, they are doing a fun video game theme! Their kick top was inspired by geometric designs and we sublimated a custom fabric for the team to use throughout the costume. They paired this top with Black Shiny Tricot leggings.

Dance Team Director Lynae de Leon of the Ontario Fury outfitted her team in gorgeous new TLU apparel this season! The first signature look that she selected was an online top and skirt with custom changes. We love how perfect this looks in their team colors on the ladies!

Our friends at Totino Grace High School in Minnesota have been rocking their High Kick costumes! Head Coach Kristen Gagnon decided on a marching band theme for this year's routine, and found inspiration from Madonna's Majorette look from her 2012 summer tour. The Line Up team had a lot of fun bringing Kristen's vision to life!
