The Line Up recently outfitted the cast of the latest national commercial for Marketing Architects! Our very own Pam was one of the models and said it was fun working with them to choose styles and options from our web store that have the “classic cheerleader” look that the client wanted. They selected online styles 420-1 Blocked and 698-7 for the ladies, and our basic male tee with a crew neck in Red Shiny Tricot for the guys. Everyone loved the final look! It really popped on set and, as a bonus, was extremely comfortable!

DanceXchange studio in Edina, Minnesota sent us some great pictures from a competition this past weekend! They designed quite a few fun costumes for the 2013 season! For their production number, they had a tribal theme and selected three online styles but used the same fabrics and custom changes to coordinate all together. They selected the Suki, Shadow, and Leandra Solid, and also ordered some custom boy's tops. They also had a smaller group that did a Circus routine, and selected our online Ringmaster jacket and 580 shorts with custom fabric and changes. They had two solos as well. The first was the online Hadley, and the second was one of our new tryout tops and 580 shorts and they added their own bustle onto the back of the shorts.

Ramapo College Dance Team recently competed at the NCA/NDA Collegiate Cheer & Dance Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida and are National Champions in Division III for the second year in a row! Similar to Sacred Heart, they also had a Newsies theme. Since they were in separate divisions, we knew this wouldn't be an issue but when teams compete against each other and want similar costumes, we do try to confidentially steer teams in different directions. Ramapo went with a one piece unitard with layered mesh and hologram fabrics. They also added suspenders and a newsboy hat to keep with the theme! We are honored to have created their championship costume again!

Cherry Hill West High School from New Jersey was new to The Line Up this year and created two custom garments. The first was a Jazz Geisha costume. We special ordered a pretty printed fabric and added a large sash for a kimono inspired look. This was paired with our high school fit shorts for an incredible costume! Their second costume was a Super Hero Hip Hop biketard. We love the arm and leg gauntlets to really achieve a Super Hero effect. The team added their own belt buckle logos to complete the superhero look. The girls are headed to the USASF Dance World Championships in Florida soon and we wish them the best of luck! We also want to send a special thank you to coach Shelby Smith for being so great to work with!
