Looking for a little fashion inspiration, we recently stumbled upon an article on Vogue.com about a collaboration between the New York City Ballet and street Artist JR. With photography and pasted paper as his primary medium, JR created a couple massive installations at the Lincoln Center in New York. Dancer's legs extend from a larger than life paper cloud on the building's facade, and inside the theater dancers are arranged within paper folds to create and eye on floor of the promenade. What could be more spectacular and graceful than when dance and contemporary art collide?

At The Line Up, we don’t just create custom costumes - we also create custom accessories to go with them! This year, Orono High School created a unique headband to wear with their kick uniforms. The fabrics were woven together to create a braid, which really polishes off their uniform. Thank you, Coach Allison, for sending us this cute picture! Good luck with the rest of the season!
Did you hear? We won an award!!
