Colorado Avalanche Ice Girls

The lakes haven’t started freezing yet here in Minnesota, but the dropping temps and the start of NHL season last month has us craving a little ice time! The Avery Dress, with and without our Floral Rose Sublimated Design

If you've been looking into new costumes, dresses, or uniforms this season or seen our new Embellishment Guide, chances are you've heard the latest buzz word: Dye Sublimation. So what is it and why can't we stop talking about it over here at The Line Up? Simply put, sublimation is an embellishment technique that allows you to print colors, designs, or logos directly onto fabric. It's a great way to create a look that is truly one-of-a-kind!

The 2015 Midwest & Pacific Coast Synchro Skate Championships Were a Success!

Posted by Trista on Feb 2, 2015

The 2015 Midwest & Pacific Coast Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships were right in our back door this year: at Breamar Ice Arena in Eden Prairie, MN. Pantone has spoken, and the color of the year is...(drum roll please) Marsala, a deep and warm wine tone.  Flattering on skin skin tones, dramatic, and bold. The Pantone Color of the Year doesn't need to stay in the fashion world; bring it to the dance scene in 2015!

Posted by Trista on Aug 4, 2014

from jur cheer website

We are getting ready to ship an order of Minnesota Vikings Junior Cheerleader costumes this week, and got to thinking about all the girls that will soon be wearing them. What if this was your first dance performance? I saw these costumes on the rack, ready to be packed up, and I couldn't help but be a little envious the new MVC Junior cheerleaders and their new dance season ahead. It definitely does not compare to memories of my first dance costume, an oversized t-shirt trimmed with a pink sequin cinch (hello early 90’s)! The Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders' Director, Tami, told us her daughter loved her Junior MVC dress so much that she did not want to take it off, and even slept in it!

Posted by Trista on Jul 18, 2014

This past weekend, The Line Up crew sponsored and participated in the Joggin for the Noggin 5k race, an event to raise concussion awareness. The race was organized by 6 Honor Society students from Chanhassen High School, one of which (Quinn), is the son of our web store guru, Karen Lanners. We couldn't have been more impressed with Quinn and his classmate's ambition and hard work in organizing the successful event!

Fashion Inspiration - Met Gala

Posted by Trista on May 6, 2014

We were feeling more than a little dazzled by the annual Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last night. Art, fashion, and entertainment collided to create some awe-inspiring gowns! Two fashion themes from the night that we couldn't help but to fall in love with: Black and white ensembles, and huge, over the top skirts. Hopefully you found as much inspiration as we did for your next costume design! We'll be over here trying to figure out how they got those voluminous skirts to scallop ....
