Tis the season... college football season, that is! We love outfitting college pom, cheer, and dance teams to look their best on the sidelines. We recently heard from Melanie, coach of the University at Buffalo Dazzlers, who had their home opener this past weekend. The girls unveiled their new costumes they took from our web store, and completely transformed for their team, adding accessories and a logo. They went with the Tami dress in their school colors and added their team name to the bottom of the dress. The Anna gauntlets are the cherry on top that completes the look!

Established in 1956, the Hockettes are the nation’s first synchronized skating team. They have many different level teams, from Beginner through Junior. For many years, we have brought their costume visions to life. Our team works very closely with Bonnie Shay and Erin Donovan for each team's garment. We always look forward to the creative ideas they bring. Last year, we loved the "burst" color design they came up with for Junior Long (pictured below.)

The Memphis Grizzlies Dancers were recently over in Seoul, South Korea for the NBA 3X event and showed off their new, customized costumes. They decided on a variety of tops and shorts, and added their team logo and lettering with our new sublimation technology. We love how each piece is different and branded, yet they maintain a cohesive overall look and feel unique to their team!

In honor of the first week of school for many high school teams, we thought we would throw it back to 2008. Check out some of our great high school teams that we love working with! Sequins, specialty fabrics and distinctive themes- times haven't changed that much!

Clemson University was new to TLU this year! They customized a few online styles and made them completely their own with team colors and lettering, including a cute paw on the back! Not only did they order a top and skirt for the dance team, but for a twirler as well! Her crop and skirt blend perfectly with the team garments, making it one cohesive look. We love working with Clemson and seeing their awesome design ideas- go purple and orange!

Michelle Harris, former Director of the New York Knicks, is back in her home town of Chicago as Director of Entertainment of the Chicago Bulls. On August 20th, the official dancers for the Chicago Bulls, the Luvabulls, not only debuted their new team, but also unveiled one of their new custom costumes! The Line Up is honored to have been such an integral part of making Michelle's vision for the LuvaBulls a reality. Inspired by the Chicago flag, this one-piece, red, white and blue dress was debuted at Studio Paris. Megan, Melissa and Deb flew to Chicago celebrate with the team and see the dresses in action! The Miami Dolphins rebranded this year with a new logo and slightly different colors, which means the cheerleaders needed new uniforms for 2013! They wanted to keep their similar signature pieces, but update the logos and rhinestones. We were excited to help create their new look for the upcoming season! We love that they kept with their classic look as it is so recognizable and a fan favorite. Some changes included adding splashes of aqua to the scalloped edges of the neckline to really make the garments pop during their performances! We couldn’t wait to get these new designs into production and make their vision a reality. We look forward to seeing these beautiful women rocking it out on the field in their new uniforms!

The Galactic Dancers, the official cheerleaders of the German National Basketball Team, premiered their new uniforms at the first of a 7-game series in Europe. The team selected a few online styles. One outfit was a halter and skirt, and the second was a halter and shorts. We LOVE working with Christina to coordinate uniforms and look forward to future designs!

Yesterday Megan, Melissa and Deb arrived in Chicago for the unveiling of the new Luvabulls Dance Team. Michelle Harris, former Director of Entertainment for the New York Knicks is back in her home town of Chicago as Director of Entertainment with the Chicago Bulls. The new uniforms worn by the team will be debuted tonight at Studio Paris.
