Competition season is here, and The Line Up is a buzz with photos and videos and results of teams we helped outfit. Events this past weekend alone included: Minnesota High School Danceline sectionals, Wisconsin High School Dance Regionals, Midwest & Pacific Synchro Skate Championships, and UDA's National Dance Team Championship!!

THEME COSTUMES CONTINUE TO BE A HOT TREND THIS YEAR. And Mound Westonka Dance Team (MN) nailed it.
They creatively brainstormed a new theme based on uniforms from two seasons prior. By creating costumes for only half the team, they were able to go from Newsies to Mary Poppins seamlessly. Coach Molly sent us a sweet note with great photos that we wanted to share.
Here's what coach Molly had to say!
"Our team is so excited about their kick uniforms this year, because they love their theme (Mary Poppins), and the uniforms fit the theme so well.

Being surrounded by fabrics, rhinestones, and patterns galore, we over here at The Line Up tend to have our favorite "flavor of the week." Sometimes we find a favorite color combination, fabric choice, or just a "forgotten" pattern. This week, we wanted to feature the Rainey, a flowing dress of mesh has an attached biketard with camisole straps. The mesh overskirts have an asymmetrical hemline. Front drape ties to the cami strap.

Our friends at Totino Grace High School in Minnesota have been rocking their High Kick costumes! Head Coach Kristen Gagnon decided on a marching band theme for this year's routine, and found inspiration from Madonna's Majorette look from her 2012 summer tour. The Line Up team had a lot of fun bringing Kristen's vision to life!
