I just got home from the Midwestern & Pacific Coast Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships, eager to go through some of the photos to post on the blog tomorrow morning.

Although there will not be cheerleaders for the 2011 Superbowl this Sunday, Pro-Bowl 2011 was the place to get a glimpse of the talented women that support most of the NFL teams. The Line Up would like to congratulate Blue Valley Southwest High School in Kansas for their success thus far this season! Coach Erin Fine was proud to share with TLU "...And just to let you know we placed 1^st in both competitions with this routine!! And the judges gave lots of compliments on the costume/theme!! :) Thanks!"

The 2011 Midwestern & Pacific Coast Sectional Championships are in Rochester, MN this year and that means only an hour and half drive from our office in Eden Prairie. The Phoenix Synchronized Skaters and their coaches, Jeannine Weinschrod and Helene Wolf, along with many parents drove in 2 large coach buses to pay us a visit before they took the ice this morning. We gave them a tour of the building and talked them through the process on how we made their skating dresses from start to finish- they were impressed! The little skaters were also very enamoured with Oscar and Jessie and almost took them away on the bus back to Rochester :)

Check out the University of Iowa Dance Team in their new costumes from The Line Up! They recently went to the Universal Dance Association National Championships in Orlando, FL where they placed 9th in jazz- the highest ever for the program! In the Pom category, they placed 7th which is also a huge accomplishment. Head coach, Jenny Eustice, is extremely proud of her team. "The costumes look beautiful out on the floor. We have received so many compliments!"

Check out the Superior High School Dance Team in action! Casey Carlson, coach of the SHSDT in Superior, Wisconsin, recently sent us some great shots captured of the girls. This year, the Spartans are mixing up their performance by competing in the pom category instead of jazz. The Line Up appreciates you sharing the photos with us Casey!
