Last week, we gave you the "behind the design" story for the Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders' new uniforms. But did you know that there are even more spectacular groups within this organization? We also outfitted the Raven's Playmakers and Pro Bowl alumni this year! What did they go with? Here's a peek:

Playmakers

The Baltimore Ravens have a promotional team known as The Playmakers, who make appearances throughout Baltimore and surrounding areas and raffle off tickets to M&T Bank Stadium. The team is also present at all home games.

We were thrilled to work with Event & Game Entertainment manager, Ilsa, to design a new uniform for the Playmakers! Together, our design team and Ilsa landed on a tank and skirt, a look intended to provide more modest coverage as they make appearances in the community. Sticking with their team colors of purple and black, the top and skirt also coordinates well with their existing custom warm-up jacket- we love the overall look!

When University of North Texas dance team recently sent us pics of their new uniforms in action, we couldn’t help but be impressed with the team’s ever growing wardrobe. Which got us thinking, how many times can one dance team do green and white, and still keep it looking fresh? 6 pieces and counting, these ladies have shown us the possibilities are endless!

Limestone College dancers are looking extra fabulous on the sidelines this season in their new uniform tops. Mock neck halter crop + sparkle + logo = some serious fabulousness on the sidelines!

Have you seen all the sideline beauties - aka NFL cheerleaders - sporting pink lately? It's all in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, and the NFL's campaign, "A Crucial Catch." A Crucial Catch, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, is focused on the importance of regular screenings to prevent breast cancer. Throughout October, NFL games players, coaches, cheerleaders and referees can be seen wearing pink game day apparel to bring awareness to the cause.

Western Michigan University Dance Team is rockin' a new look on the sidelines this year. The white tops really pop against the football field, and the gold metallic myst trim adds a little dimension and texture without needing any extra sparkle like rhinestones or spangles. We think WMU Dance Team did the fabrics on this modified online style just right - what a great solution! :

Stacie Kinder, coach of the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders, always has fun and innovative uniform ideas to keep her team looking fresh, yet still true to the Titan's brand. This year's new signature uniform was no exception! Stacie wanted a new look that would differentiate the Titan's from the other NFL teams. To do this, her design priorities were:

This season, the 2 time NDA national champions, the University of Minnesota- Duluth (UMD) Dance Team are sporting a spectacular new top on the sidelines. The ladies took a classic mock neck crop and customized it for their team by changing the colors and adding adding lettering!

Account Coordinator Megan at The Advocate Center, the Bulls new practice facility

Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes as an NBA team gets ready to reveal their new season of dancers? At the end of last month, owner Deb and one of our fantastic account managers, Megan, got a sneak peek when they traveled to the windy city of Chicago to fit the the Chicago Bulls dancers, the “Luvabulls”. Their newest uniform was debuted during their photo shoot while Megan and Deb were busy measuring and sizing everyone.

There are SO many factors a coach needs to keep in mind when deciding on the best uniform option for performance season: Do we want to wear these for a couple years? Is this for a special performance or other activities as well? Is the weather and temperatures a factor? Do we want our logo or just our colors? Do we add sparkle, or do we want a more sporty, athletic look?
