Competition Season Recap: 2017 North Dakota Dance Teams!

The NDADD State Competition and NDTC Nationals brought competition season to an exciting conclusion for our high school dance team friends in North Dakota this month!

The state has a small yet vibrant dance community that KNOWS how to do custom high hick unitards.  We've also noticed that these ladies aren't afraid of the velvet, which is perfect because we predict velvet is making its way back into dance fashion!

Competition season officially came to an end last weekend for our Wisconsin high school dance team friends, at the the 2017 WACPC State Dance Championships!  If we can say anything definitive about these lovely teams, it's that they KNOW how to do custom costumes! Brightly colored Pom uniforms, edgy High Kick costumes, flowy Jazz costumes, and innovative Hip Hop looks - there's a wide variety in Wisconsin!

It was a whirlwind couple of days for high school teams this past weekend at NDTC Nationals!  If you're a dance fan like ourselves, odds are you skipped the Super Bowl and were live streaming UDA Nationals instead!  

With so many teams coming together at the largest national competition for dance, it's always fun to see the wide range of costume styles!  Here were a few of our favorite dance costume trends from the competition!  While we can't take credit for creating many of these costumes, we were lucky enough to work with quite a few teams!!
