Thank you to Dance Arts Centre in Chanhassen, Minnesota for sharing these amazing photos from a recent competition. The Line Up has been creating garments for DAC for many years, and we couldn’t be more grateful! DAC designed 20 groups of custom costumes for the 2012-2013 season. We work with Jane Foster, Costume Coordinator at Dance Arts Centre, for nearly 6 months each year from initial design concepts to completed garments. Thanks to everyone at DAC for your continued support!
DanceXchange studio in Edina, Minnesota sent us some great pictures from a competition this past weekend! They designed quite a few fun costumes for the 2013 season! For their production number, they had a tribal theme and selected three online styles but used the same fabrics and custom changes to coordinate all together. They selected the Suki, Shadow, and Leandra Solid, and also ordered some custom boy's tops. They also had a smaller group that did a Circus routine, and selected our online Ringmaster jacket and 580 shorts with custom fabric and changes. They had two solos as well. The first was the online Hadley, and the second was one of our new tryout tops and 580 shorts and they added their own bustle onto the back of the shorts.
Here is a sneak peak of a recent performance of our friends at South Metro Dance Academy, in Lakeville, Minnesota. Many of the photos are from the Jenni Buth Memorial Scholarship Show earlier this month. The Line Up started designing costumes with South Metro last September, so we are very excited to finally see all the costumes on stage! We also love working with Lindsey, a former TLU Account Coordinator!
We found some great photos of year's past from Dance Arts Centre! We always adore working with Dance Arts Centre and seeing the creative ideas they come up with each year! We cannot wait for them to unveil their 2013 costumes! See more on our Facebook page.
We received more amazing photos from Dance Arts Centre in their Line Up costumes! It is so fun for us to see our costumes come to life on amazing dancers!

We found this great photo from 2011 of some tiny Dance Arts Centre dancers with big personalities! This was for their Starburst Tap, "Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens". Too fun!
Best of luck to Dance Arts Centre at Midwest Starz Nationals this weekend! We know you will be spectacular!
The Kathryn Barnett School of Dance in New Jersey recently sent us some great photos of two costumes they ordered this year from The Line Up. “Jet Set” was a small group, with the girls being airline stewardesses. This costume was inspired by the online ‘Air Force’ style with slight modifications.
South Metro Dance Academy has been a Line Up customer for years, and always is extremely well dressed! Former Customer Service Manager Lindsey Stone teaches many lines at SMDA and always makes sure they have amazing costumes! Here are a few photos from their competition season, which wrapped up this past weekend.
Brenda Cranford School of Dance is a studio that is new to The Line Up this year and created their costumes by modifying the online style Colleen so that they could use Zsa Zsa sequin fabric! Their Petite Jazz group looks great in the lavender fabrics and we really enjoyed working with Brenda to accomplish this beautiful look!
