Although summer is ending, it's also only the beginning: the beginning of fall performance season!

Camp season is coming to a close and teams are gearing up for football season, which means we've got Game Day on the brain!

Earlier this month we spotted some amazing dance teams at UDA college camp, where they dressed in their game day uniforms and performed their traditional fight songs in front of the entire camp. It was great to see the wide variety of school traditions and styles!

When the Timberwolves Dancers' coach Athenia came to us looking for a new design for this season, we were eager to help create a fresh, new look! Her vision came to life in a hooded dress, uniquely accented with a pattern created out of the Wolves' logo.

The NFL season officially got off to an exciting start last weekend with the Vikings vs. Steelers NFL Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio. The night before the game, the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders had a little time off to enjoy the Aerosmith concert- and the five captains performed on stage in their signature uniform "Baby Helga!" So Awesome ladies!

On July 17th, "Trainwreck" made it's box office debut. We were so excited to see the Knicks City Dancers portrayed in the movie, and wearing one of their many TLU signature costumes!

We were so excited to see The Line Up owner and founder, Deb Erickson, in the May "Beginners to Bigshots" national supplement within the The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal! In the article, Deb describes how TLU began, how it's grown over the past 25 years and how the company is looking towards the future. Congrats, Deb!

420 Dress and Tami

When Greeley West HS Pom Team came to us with a "Tron" theme for nationals, we were very excited. We had never done a Tron theme for a team before! We helped them create a truly unique theme costume for their jazz routine.

Going a different direction on a dance, costume and theme is a risk many teams take. This past year, the University of St. Thomas Dance Team (located in Minnesota, not the island) took a major risk with a one song, Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z "Holy Grail" routine at the 2015 UDA College National Championship and it paid off! We were eager to bring their costume vision to life and match the "JT swag" they were going for.

Well, it's that time of year again... CATALOG SEASON! ...which then means it's our other favorite time of year... PHOTOSHOOT SEASON!

Having many new product offerings and growing our custom and online repertoire means more photoshoots more frequently for The Line Up. With careful, detailed planning we make sure to bring innovative ideas and concepts along with a schedule of needed shots to ensure we use our time wisely.

We are lucky to have Steve Lucas of Steve Lucas Photography as our photographer- he's the best in the biz at capturing those action shots!
