When I tell people that I own a custom costume company, often the reaction is "Wow! That must be so fun!" And while there is a lot of creativity and sparkle on the surface, what lies beneath is an amazing team of people that really feel like my extended family. I've tried hard over the last 25 years to make this a genuinely great place to work - a place where each person can find a place to be successful and do work that doesn't feel like work! A place that you can continually learn and invest in yourself!

We have over 40 extraordinary individuals at our Minnesota facility, and we are always looking for more talent! One thing that makes The Line Up unique? We're like no other apparel business in that we do everything in house - from customer service to catalog creation to product design and manufacturing. There's an intimacy here that you can't always find in big business.

Last month, one of our Account Managers, Karen, took two weeks off to travel to beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii. This was no ordinary beach vacation though - Karen traveled to this exotic local to represent the Minnesota Vikings as their 2016 Pro-Bowl Cheerleader! What an honor! Did you know that The Line Up is proud to call THREE current and former employees Pro-Bowl Alumni? Our Marketing Coordinator Pam and former Account Manager Laura were also chosen to represent the Vikings.

We have not one but TWO of our amazing customers cheering in the Superbowl this Sunday. We don't like to pick favorites, so we aren't going to! Good luck to BOTH of our amazing customers, the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and the Carolina Panthers TopCats as they cheer on their teams. We couldn't be more excited for you and can't wait to see you shine on the sidelines!

Here at The Line Up, we don't just "get it" we LIVE the costume experience. Like myself, many of us that work at The Line Up are dancers, teachers, coaches, and choreographers. When we say we truly understand where you are coming from, we mean it.

Account Coordinator Megan at The Advocate Center, the Bulls new practice facility

Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes as an NBA team gets ready to reveal their new season of dancers? At the end of last month, owner Deb and one of our fantastic account managers, Megan, got a sneak peek when they traveled to the windy city of Chicago to fit the the Chicago Bulls dancers, the “Luvabulls”. Their newest uniform was debuted during their photo shoot while Megan and Deb were busy measuring and sizing everyone.

In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, we were proud to launch our office dance party video last week! Three months of meticulous coordination - everything from choreography and costumes to transitions and placement - led up to only ONE day of rehearsal and filming. 125 dancers, 40 staff, and one giant dance party...in ONE-TAKE. Boom. Wondering how it all came about? Here's a look behind the scenes of that day!

This season we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary! We are so thankful so many teams have included The Line Up as a part of their performances over the years, and we threw a little dance party at our office to celebrate! Want to celebrate with us? On July 17th, "Trainwreck" made it's box office debut. We were so excited to see the Knicks City Dancers portrayed in the movie, and wearing one of their many TLU signature costumes!

We were so excited to see The Line Up owner and founder, Deb Erickson, in the May "Beginners to Bigshots" national supplement within the The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal!
